5-Week Beginner Violin Course

Beginner students will learn basics of violin set-up, posture, bow hold, and learn songs through interactive games and exercises.

Parental participation requested.

Instructor: Shaw Pong Liu, MM New England Conservatory

Meets twice a week: 30-minute one-on-one private lesson Tuesdays and a 30-minute group practice session Thursdays

Begins Tuesday March 24 (or March 31 depending on enrollment)

Tuition: $225 

max enrollment: 6 students

Rental instruments available at Johnson's String Instruments in Newton, MA (~$91+tax for 3 month rental)

5-Week Children's Music Class
Acclaimed music educator Dave Cordes (former early childhood music director, Conservatory Lab Charter School) leads an interactive music class for kids 4-8.

Instructor: Dave Cordes

Wednesdays 1pm-1:45pm, 3/25-4/22

Tuition: $125 per family (up to 2 kids) 

max enrollment: 8 families/10 students

5-Week Children's Songwriting Class

We will collaboratively create a song together as a group. If you can talk, you can sing and co-create a song! No experience necessary, instruments are welcome but not required. 

Instructor: Shaw Pong Liu

Class A: Thursdays 11am-11:45am, 3/26-4/23
Class B: Thursdays 2pm-2:45pm, 3/26-4/23

Tuition: $125 per student 

max enrollment: 6 students

5-Week Violin Games and Fitness Class

Play games, practice scales and exercises with a group of fellow violin students! 40 minutes of exercises with 20 minutes of listening and discussion each class.

Wednesdays 4pm-4:45pm, 3/25-4/22

Tuition: $125 per student

max enrollment: 8 students

All Together: Family-Friendly Music online concert series

Fridays 1pm-1:45pm

Starts Friday March 27th

$20 admission per family per concert
